Livewell Jaunt

ist this the best mobility scooter of 2023?

This product is of high quality and possesses several positive features. It can navigate inclines, is user-friendly, and sufficiently fast for my needs. While assembling and disassembling it is relatively straightforward, individuals with disabilities may find it laborious. Nonetheless, the battery is easily removable, although I usually rely on my partner to carry it up and down stairs since I am unable to do so alone. As we don’t own a car, I was pleased to discover that it fits easily in the trunk of a cab, and the driver was willing to accommodate it. However, I would have struggled if I had been alone. Fortunately, it is accepted on buses, but I felt more at ease having someone accompany me during my first bus trip with it. People have been friendly and supportive while I’ve been using it. The basket has exceeded my expectations in terms of capacity.

The only reason I haven’t given it a perfect rating of 5 stars is because the ride can be quite bumpy on uneven pavements. This proved challenging for me on one occasion when I wasn’t feeling well. However, it performs excellently on smooth surfaces.

Livewell Instafold

I’m really impressed with the comfort of this product. It’s exactly what I needed, and it’s incredibly easy to lift out of the trunk of my car. With just a press of a button on the remote, I’m ready to go in seconds. When I’m done using it, another press of the remote button and it folds down smoothly, making it simple to put back in the car trunk. The best part is that it comes fully assembled, so all I had to do was unpack it, charge the battery, and I was good to go. It folds down to the size of a suitcase, which means I can easily transport it on buses, trains, planes, ships, and in car trunks.

The only drawback I found is that the seat is quite hard, and it’s not the most comfortable for long periods of sitting. However, I specifically purchased this product for quick trips around the shops, navigating through the airport, and running errands. Considering its affordable price compared to the smaller models, which are nearly double the cost, I believe it’s perfect for my needs as a non-frequent user. It is worth noting that due to its bulkiness, it will occupy the entire car trunk space.

Drive 4 Wheel Manual Folding Travel Mobility Scooter with On Board Charging

We were in search of a mobility scooter that could easily fit in the trunk of our Renault Cleo. This scooter fits the bill perfectly. Although it weighs 52 pounds, it takes both of us, two 70-year-olds, to lift it out. Once on the road, it drives flawlessly. While we haven’t tested its full range yet, it is claimed to go over 10 miles on a single charge. It certainly has impressive speed, so we advise treating it with care. My husband already has a larger scooter, but we needed one specifically for travel, and this scooter is ideal. It folds easily and can be taken on buses or planes, which is crucial for us as we frequently fly. The battery life allows for this convenience. Considering its price, it offers good value, and if you’re able to fold it manually, it doesn’t require much strength.

The delivery from Breeze Mobility was excellent and speedy. We highly recommend this company. In fact, we had a minor issue with the scooter not starting initially, but when we contacted Breeze Mobility and spoke to Richard, he provided exceptional customer service that went above and beyond our expectations. He resolved the problem promptly, and now we have a wonderful scooter that we couldn’t imagine being without. We would highly recommend Breeze Mobility for their outstanding 10/10 service.

Green Power Mobility Super Lightweight

This mobility scooter offers a more affordable option compared to purchasing one through mobility services. The headlight is exceptionally bright, providing excellent visibility. The battery life and motor power are perfect, ensuring a reliable and efficient ride. One of the standout features is its ability to fit in the trunk of a saloon car, which adds to its convenience. Folding it down and separating the pieces is a breeze, and the basket is easily removable if needed. Additionally, the drink/bottle holder and USB port are conveniently positioned and easy to access.

However, there are a couple of minor complaints. The seat could be improved, as it tends to have some lateral movement even when locked in place. Additionally, the turning circle is slightly larger than average, which may be a consideration for maneuvering in tight spaces.

Despite these minor drawbacks, this scooter is truly amazing and has become an integral part of my daily life, providing me with newfound freedom. It fits comfortably in the boot of my small car, which is impressive. Considering the price, it offers excellent value. Overall, I’m very happy with this mobility scooter. The service I received was exceptional, as I received the scooter two days before the scheduled delivery date. Putting it together was a breeze, and it feels well-made, strong, and sturdy. I took it out for a ride immediately after assembly, and the battery had a good charge. After a satisfying 20-minute ride, I checked the scooter, and everything was in excellent working order with no loose bolts or issues. I’m extremely pleased and would highly recommend it.

Vive 3-Wheel Mobility Scooter

I am delighted with how easily this scooter folds down, making it ready for the car trunk. It has allowed my husband to enjoy the fresh air, and we are truly grateful for it. After owning the VIVE 3-wheel scooter for four years and using it regularly within our leisure living facility, I am thrilled to report that I haven’t encountered any issues with it. I am still using the original batteries, and they are still going strong.

It’s worth noting that I primarily use the scooter indoors within the facility, covering approximately 1/8 of a mile each day (gotta be honest, right?). However, over the course of four years, the mileage adds up. The scooter’s headlights were a lifesaver during a power outage we experienced last Labor Day, allowing me to navigate safely. It maneuvers well in close quarters, such as the dining room, and the front basket is incredibly handy for carrying medication, phone, condiments, and more during meals. As a ground-level scooter, I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. Assembly took me around 10 minutes, although it could have been quicker if I hadn’t searched for parts that were already attached.

Battery is great!

The only complaint I can think of is that I can’t seem to drain the battery! Even after driving it extensively, the battery only went down by one light. My block is exactly a half-mile long, and after completing seven to eight trips around it, I ventured into other neighborhoods. I even tried adding a 50lb bag of sand (I’m underweight) to the scooter, hoping it would help drain the battery so I could recharge it as per the directions. Surprisingly, it didn’t seem to make a difference! Despite this, I adore this little scooter. I can easily put it in the trunk of my Civic on my own, as it breaks down into three parts: the seat, the battery, and the rest of it. I did encounter a slight issue with removing the pin for the seat, but with a bit of practice, I quickly overcame it.

If I could, I would give this scooter ten stars without hesitation. It has truly exceeded my expectations.

To conclude

To conclude, there are lots of mobility scooters and you should shop around. You need to shop around and if possible, try out the scooters first.
